What this website collects
Almost nothing. No contact form, no accounts, no shopping cart, no advertising trackers, no analytics. Nothing you do here is logged or profiled by AI DevWorks, and no cookies are set by this site.
Two things are worth naming honestly:
- Web fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google and Google can see your IP address. That is the only third party this site reaches.
- Hosting logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard server records for security and reliability. That is ordinary web hosting, not tracking.
If you email me
Email to [email protected] goes to a mailbox I read. I keep correspondence so I can pick a conversation up where it left off. I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't sell, rent, or trade contact information — not ever, and not to anyone.
Products and services
Most of what is listed on this site is still in development. When a product handles your data it gets its own policy saying exactly what it does, published before that product ships.
One commitment runs across everything built here: local by default. Fox Home runs on hardware in your house. LifeOS keeps its database as a single file on your own machine. Boonstead has a full offline mode with no internet connection and no API keys. OCCUPANT's reactive behavior runs on the device. Where something genuinely needs a network, it is disclosed and optional.
Client and project work
Work done on your property or your vehicle means seeing things about it.
- That information belongs to you and is collected to do the job you hired me for.
- It is not shared with anyone else and is not used for marketing.
- Documentation produced for you is yours to keep, export, or delete.
- Access information — gate codes, keys, alarm details — is held only as long as the work requires and is destroyed on request.
How long things are kept
- Correspondence: while a project is live and a reasonable period after.
- Project records: for the life of the engagement, handed over at completion.
- Business and tax records: seven years, because the law requires it.
Your choices
Email me and I'll handle any of these. There is no form and no ticket queue:
- Tell you what information I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, apart from records I am legally required to keep
- Send you a copy of documentation produced for you
Children
This site and these services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date and revision letter at the top change with it, and anyone with an active project is told directly before it takes effect.
